Follow the performers as they sing and dance their way through the Prohibition and Speakeasy’s of the 20s and 30s and relive the energy and despair of the war through the melodic harmonies of the 1940s.

George Barsony, was a talented sculptor from Pécs, Hungary. George arrived in Australia as a refugee in 1949 and shortly after he met his future wife Jean who had come to Australia from England and who worked in a Sydney pottery. Together they set up Barsony Ceramics, and produced these iconic lamps. It's rare to see such a large collection in one place, these are retroroyalty! We have a huge collection in-store now, with new pieces arriving over the next few weeks (as we find more space for them!) — at Woolloongabba Antique Centre & Cafe.
Woolloogabba Antique Centre is proud to host "The Substation Antique Collective" as part of the End Of The Line Festival. We have gathered up an eclectic posse of pickers, collectors, vintage and antique dealers and will be popping up right into the middle of the Festival.
